Vini Vini Vici entrusted us with the opportunity to develop their inaugural website. In our collaboration, we endeavored to create a comprehensive platform that aimed to reflect not only the essence of their brand but also provide a repository of specific information about their wine offerings. Additionally, we worked diligently to showcase a diverse range of products for sale and to effectively communicate the various services they provide.

Approach

A lasting aesthetic.

We wanted to move away from the typical wine colours, and developed a sober but modern palette. The navy blue is complemented by an ochre, instead of the classic gold used by the industry, to add a touch of elegance. In addition to black and white, the web colour palette is completed with a few touches of steel blue.

These subscription options are presented in an engaging manner, each bearing the name of a distinguished Roman political figure. Clicking on any of these visuals provides a detailed overview of the specific benefits and features of that particular plan.

For the shop section, we aimed for a high-impact presentation that elevates the product value. We achieved this by implementing a dynamic three-column grid layout, which seamlessly adapts to a two-column format on smaller screens like mobile phones.

Icons

In order to highlight the nature of the wines that vini vini vici markets, we have created a series of icons that we place on the right-hand side of each product, if applicable. The four categories are Volcanic, sourced from volcanic soils; Heroic, grown in challenging terrains; BIO, produced organically; and Piwi, featuring disease-resistant grape varieties.
